About the Company:
We are a growing company with an annual profit of approximately $18 million, seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to take charge of our financial operations and drive strategic initiatives.
Position Overview:
The CFO will be responsible for overseeing the company’s financial health, implementing effective financial strategies, and working closely with the owner. This role requires a hands-on leader who can clean up the books, manage key performance indicators (KPIs), and navigate mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean up and maintain accurate financial records.
- Develop and manage KPIs to drive business performance.
- Lead M&A activities and strategic financial planning.
- Collaborate directly with the owner to align financial strategies with business goals.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Supervise cost accounting and inventory management processes.
- Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize the company’s fiscal position.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance.
- At least 3 years of experience in a CFO role.
- Proven track record in managing financial operations for small to mid-market privately held companies.
- Deep knowledge of cost accounting, inventory management, and tax strategy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Work Schedule:
On-site 4-5 days a week.
Compensation:
- Base Salary: $150,000 - $200,000, commensurate with experience.
