Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Overview
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer to lead the financial function of our organization. The CFO will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team and act as a trusted partner to the CEO, board, and private-equity stakeholders. This role is responsible for driving financial performance, operational discipline, and scalable growth within a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the company's financial strategy in alignment with operational and growth objectives
* Oversee accounting, financial reporting, FP&A, tax, treasury, and audit functions
* Own budgeting, forecasting, and long range financial planning across manufacturing operations
* Provide clear and timely financial reporting and insights to executive leadership, the board, and private equity partners
* Ensure accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP and lender or investor requirements
* Establish and maintain strong internal controls, compliance, and risk management practices
* Manage cash flow, working capital, inventory, and capital allocation
* Oversee cost accounting, standard costing, and margin analysis across plant level operations
* Partner with operations and supply chain leaders to improve efficiency, profitability, and throughput
* Lead capital expenditure planning, ROI analysis, and manufacturing investments
* Support value creation initiatives including operational improvements, pricing strategy, and cost optimization
* Lead financial support for M&A, integration activities, and transaction readiness
* Prepare the organization for audits, lender reporting, and potential exit events
* Build, mentor, and scale a high performing finance and accounting team
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required
* CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred
* 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience
* Prior CFO or senior finance leadership experience within manufacturing environments
* Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory management, and plant level financial operations
* Experience working with private-equity sponsors, operating partners, and PE boards
* Proven ability to manage EBITDA, cash flow, and leverage in a PE backed environment
* Experience with ERP systems supporting manufacturing operations
* Strong understanding of internal controls, audits, and lender reporting
* Hands on leader with the ability to operate strategically and tactically
* Excellent communication, leadership, and executive presence
