The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for overall financial leadership of the transport business, including accounting, financial reporting, cash flow management, statutory compliance, audits, and strategic financial planning. The role supports operational efficiency, fleet economics, regulatory compliance, and sustainable growth.
Financial Planning & Accounting Management
- Overall ownership of Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, Cash Flow, working capital optimization and accounting accuracy.
- Ensure accurate MIS reporting, including route-wise, fleet-wise, and cost-centre profitability.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning aligned with operational and business goals.
- Provide strategic financial insights to improve fleet utilization, cost efficiency, and profitability.
Compliance & Audit
- Oversee statutory, tax, and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure timely completion of statutory and internal audits.
- Monitor financial and compliance risks and ensure adherence to applicable laws and standards.
Funding, Banking & Stakeholder Management
- Prepare and present financial information for funding, investors, banks, and fleet financing.
- Manage relationships with banks, financial institutions, investors, auditors, and lenders.
Internal Controls & Governance
- Establish and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, financial policies, and SOPs across depots and locations.
- Ensure strong governance, financial discipline, and risk management frameworks.
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounts team.
- Drive a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Experience
MBA (Finance) from reputed institute with 8-15+ years of experience in finance & accounts
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹2,500,000.00 per year
