We are looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will oversee the financial strategy and operations of the organization, ensuring optimal cash flow management, capital allocation, and accurate financial reporting. This position is based in Austin, Texas, and offers an opportunity to make a significant impact on the company's financial health and growth.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the development and execution of financial strategies to support organizational goals.
• Manage cash flow and ensure effective allocation of capital to sustain and grow operations.
• Oversee the preparation and review of monthly financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Analyze financial performance and provide insights to guide strategic business decisions.
• Develop and implement systems to streamline financial reporting and improve overall efficiency.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to align financial objectives with broader business strategies.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and financial standards.
• Monitor and manage risk by implementing robust financial controls.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial leadership role.
• Proven expertise in cash flow analysis and capital management.
• Strong background in preparing and overseeing month-end close processes.
• Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis.
• Familiarity with business systems and tools related to financial operations.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to make strategic decisions based on data-driven insights.
• A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is required; CPA or MBA is preferred.
