Corporate CFO/Controller

Frog Hollow Hospitality Group is an established multi-unit, multi-concept restaurant group located in Augusta, GA. We are searching for an experienced, skilled CFO/Controller who will be responsible for the financial operations and accounting team. Experience in the restaurant/hospitality industry is a plus but not required. A solid track record in managing corporate accounting and financial reporting, and knowledge of QuickBooks is a plus as well as the ability to learn new software for POS and inventory systems.

Our ideal Controller will be adept at leading others, teaching, mentoring, and developing the team to succeed. The role of the Controller includes but is not limited to: monthly financial statements reporting and analysis, cash management, accounts receivable/payable, payroll, budgeting, projections and monthly reconciliations as well as pro formas for new ventures and coordination with banking, insurance and licensing entities.

Corporate Restaurant Controller Responsibilities:

Manage the daily finances and accounting of all company-owned and managed locations
Assist in driving overall company profitability
Great at developing people and helping them achieve their goals while working hands-on with restaurant managers and staff
Manage/oversight of general ledger, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable
Organized and strategic, strong communicator, and team player
Operational, Point of Sale, and Financial support
Monthly production of financial statements

Corporate Restaurant Controller Qualifications:

7+ years of hands-on experience as a CFO/Controller preferred
This is a “hands-on” role. You must be actively involved while managing a small team
Ability to lead an accounting department and work well with others
Strong focus on managing financial operations and financial statement accuracy
Solid work ethic a must
Cash management experience is necessary
Accounting degree required
