Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Business Operations Analyst to join our Business Operations Team. This role plays a critical part in transforming data into actionable insights that drive operational efficiency, product performance, and strategic decision-making. The Business Operations Analyst will manage BI tools, ensure data accuracy, and support cross-functional teams with reporting, analytics, and visualization. Acting as a bridge between product analytics, National Account Teams (NAT), and Field Operations, you will leverage data-driven insights to streamline operational rhythms, resolve escalations, and improve business outcomes.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically proficient, and passionate about using data to enhance performance. You will serve as a strategic partner in data strategy and process optimization, while supporting day-to-day operations and driving continuous improvement across the organization. This position requires a blend of technical expertise (SQL, data modeling, BI tools) and strong interpersonal skills to translate business needs into actionable solutions, facilitate alignment between teams, and ensure data quality and operational efficiency.
What You'll Do:
- Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations to help the Business Operations Team, National Account Teams (NAT), Field Operations, and leadership track product progress, operational performance, trends, and key metrics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product Owners, NAT, Field Operations, Finance, Engineering, and Leadership) to gather requirements, prioritize enhancements, and deliver tailored solutions that ensure critical data is captured, accessible, and accurate.
- Analyze operational and product data to identify trends, anomalies, and untapped opportunities, driving initiatives that improve product development, operational efficiency, and collaboration across departments.
- Develop sustainable data environments and analytical models, standardizing data collection techniques to support long-term reporting, querying, and product analytics platforms.
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses to investigate product issues, operational bottlenecks, or one-time challenges, providing actionable recommendations and insights to guide strategic initiatives.
- Communicate findings effectively through visualizations, reports, presentations, and documentation; educate stakeholders and provide training as needed.
- Ensure data integrity and quality, validating data sources, monitoring ETL processes, troubleshooting discrepancies, and enforcing metadata standards across product and operational assets.
- Support process improvements in reporting workflows, streamlining operations, and implementing enhancements that strengthen efficiency.
- Partner with Engineering and Product teams to identify data sources, select best-practice tools, and continuously update operational cadences.
- Stay current on BI trends and emerging technologies, adopting best practices to strengthen analytics capabilities and improve organizational decision-making.
- Bridge gaps between operations, product, and other departments, continuously gathering feedback to improve collaboration, alignment, and overall business performance.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
What You Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- 2-5 years of experience in operations or business analysis.
- Demonstrated proficient skillset in statistical/analytic modeling and visualizing with modern visualization tools (i.e., Microsoft Power BI, Tableau or similar). Power BI and Python experience are preferred.
- High degree of data competency.
- High degree of quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
- Demonstrated ability to model problems, algorithms and reporting for analytic learning and date optimization.
- Ability to present complex information clearly to stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
- Excellent analytical/problem solving skills, communication skills, and attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task and follow through on commitments in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience establishing metrics/key performance indicators to measure business impact.
- Experience participating in or leading organizational change management initiatives.
- Ability to manage the stress of a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to meet the in-person requirements of the team and/or business needs.
