Role overview
We are looking for a proactive and organised Business Operations Executive to assist the Head of Business Development and support day-to-day business activities. The role involves coordination across teams, basic operational follow-ups, simple reporting, and communication with wholesalers, vendors, and marketing partners.
You will also support our online platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, Blinkit, IndiaMART, etc by helping with product listings, updates, and coordination with the marketing agency.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and track day-to-day FMCG business operations, including marketing support, sales coordination, and internal process follow-ups.
- Work closely with the design and marketing teams to ensure FMCG brand assets, promotional materials, and campaign creatives are created, approved, and shared on time.
- Monitor and support digital marketing activities for FMCG products, ensuring execution aligns with planned timelines and brand guidelines.
- Review and maintain FMCG sales data, distributor updates, order status, and basic performance reports, and share structured insights with internal stakeholders.
- Screen and qualify leads generated from social media and digital platforms, ensuring only relevant FMCG trade or consumer inquiries are passed to the sales team.
- Support FMCG e-commerce operations by updating product details, SKUs, pricing, inventory status, and assisting with basic customer or order-related queries.
- Prepare operational, sales, and marketing reports using Excel and PowerPoint for management and leadership review.
- Work directly with the Head of Business Development on routine coordination, documentation, scheduling, and follow-ups related to FMCG operations.
- Act as a coordination point between sales, marketing, supply chain, finance, and external vendors/distributors to ensure smooth execution of FMCG operations.
- Support offline FMCG activities, including market visits, distributor coordination, retail audits, and on-ground event execution.
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy while handling pricing details, distributor data, inventory information, and internal business documents.
- Work split:
- 70% office-based: reporting, coordination, data tracking, internal communication.
- 30% field-based: market visits, offline promotions, distributor and retail coordination.
Qualifications
- 6 months to 1 year of experience in business operations, operations coordination, sales support, or e-commerce operations, preferably in the FMCG sector.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and PowerPoint for operational reporting and tracking.
- Basic understanding of FMCG business operations, including distribution flow, inventory movement, retail operations, and marketing execution.
- Good communication skills in English and Telugu (mandatory) for internal and external coordination.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing follow-ups with multiple teams and vendors.
- Ability to handle day-to-day operational tasks and multitask in a fast-paced FMCG environment.
- Familiarity with FMCG e-commerce platforms, ERP systems, or digital marketing tools is an advantage (not mandatory).
Work Mode and Salary
- Work from office - 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday to Friday.(Bairagiguda, Hyderabad)
- Salary during probation: 25,000 per month. Post-probation (after 2-3 months): 35,000 per month.
