About the Role:
We are seeking a PROS CPQ Consultant to support one of our clients in implementing and optimizing their Configure Price Quote (CPQ) processes. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business needs and technical implementation, bringing a strong understanding of pricing workflows, sales operations, and enterprise architecture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and analyze business requirements related to CPQ processes
- Design, configure, and customize PROS CPQ solutions
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, and QA teams
- Support integration with CRM/ERP systems (e.g., Salesforce, SAP)
- Develop functional and technical documentation
- Conduct unit and UAT testing; support deployment activities
- Provide training and post-go-live support to end users
Required Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years of overall experience in CPQ systems
- Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience with PROS CPQ
- Strong understanding of quote-to-cash (Q2C) processes
- Experience with PROS configuration, price lists, discounting, and approval workflows
- Familiarity with CRM/ERP integration (Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Ability to translate business needs into technical specifications
- Solid knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with PROS Pricing or Revenue Management modules
- Exposure to industries such as Manufacturing, Life Sciences, or Hi-Tech
- Certification in PROS or other CPQ platforms is a plus
- Background in software development or scripting (e.g., XML, JavaScript) is advantageous
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
- Master's degree is a plus
