Core Responsibilities
RFP Management & Tooling:
- Own the end-to-end RFP response process, including the selection, implementation, and maintenance of an RFP response tool.
- Initially manage the coordination and logistics of responses; over time, you will evolve into the primary drafter of technical responses, utilizing the team for final review and editing.
- Manage the final stages of the sales process by building custom pitch decks, drafting pricing quotes, and preparing initial contracts to help get deals signed faster and ensure a smooth handoff to our team.
CRM Management & Data Integrity:
- Own the end-to-end sales process in HubSpot. Your goal isn't just data entry; it’s identifying where deals "stick" and implementing the workflows, automation, and coaching to unstick them.
Sales Process & Pipeline Accountability:
- Introduce structure and discipline to the sales process, ensuring pipeline visibility and accountability.
- Oversee weekly sales meetings with sales and marketing teams, driving alignment and progress on key initiatives and prospects.
Sales Enablement & Asset Development:
- Generate and maintain sales assets (decks, one-pagers, battlecards, case studies) for all stages of the sales journey and for various prospect personas.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive sales playbook for BDRs, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
Sales Contractor Coordination:
- Help hire, train, and equip new BDRs. You will prepare all materials and processes necessary to ensure new hires can hit the ground running.
- Manage and mentor our BDR contractors, ensuring they are an integrated, high-performing extension of our brand.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Coordinate with product, customer success, and engineering teams to ensure seamless handoffs and alignment on customer needs and product updates.
- Support marketing in tracking the effectiveness of campaigns and events, ensuring lead quality and pipeline health, including supporting A/B testing messaging and sequences to optimize for specific titles, roles, organization types, and functions.
Forecasting & Reporting:
- Prepare and deliver regular sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance dashboards for leadership and board reviews.
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities within the sales pipeline and recommend actions.
Process Optimization:
- Continuously evaluate and improve sales processes, tools, and workflows to drive efficiency and scalability.
- Implement best practices for lead management, opportunity tracking, and deal progression.
Sales Engagement:
- Once established, help handle initial sales discovery calls and own certain accounts in the pipeline.
- Help bring in new prospects via self-prospecting and help organize, set up, and attend events/conferences on behalf of the company.
