The
Sales Operations Analyst supports the organization by combining inside sales responsibilities with sales and operational analysis. This role works closely with Outside Sales, Purchasing, Inside Sales, and Accounting to support profitable growth, data accuracy, and consistent customer execution.
The position focuses on managing assigned customer accounts, supporting pricing strategies, maintaining ERP data integrity, and providing analytical insights that improve sales effectiveness and operational efficiency.
Specific Responsibilities And Authorities May Include
- Support assigned customer accounts through inside sales activities, pricing support, and ongoing account maintenance.
- Perform sales, margin, and customer analysis to support strategic decision-making across accounts and product lines.
- Maintain and update pricing, costs, discounts, agreements, and related data within the ERP system.
- Assist in developing and maintaining customer and pricing standards to improve consistency, efficiency, and service levels.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to obtain and maintain current cost structures, discount schedules, tariffs, and special agreements.
- Assist with data cleanup, standardization, and continuous improvement efforts within ERP and related systems.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accurate order execution, margin integrity, and effective customer service.
- Provide reporting and analysis related to sales trends, cost movements, and profitability.
- Support ISO 9001 and other quality initiatives as applicable.
- Support and participate in the organization’s continual improvement program to conform to ISO 9001 requirements and understand the implications of not conforming with the Quality Management System.

Requirements
EDUCATION AND TRAINING
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, Supply Chain, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- 3–5 years of experience in inside sales, sales operations, purchasing, or related functions.
- Experience working with ERP systems; Epicor Prophet 21 preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar analytical tools.
