Role Summary
The
Senior Director, Regional Sales Operations – EMEA is a transformational leader responsible for
reimagining, modernizing, and scaling Sales Operations across the EMEA region. This role plays a pivotal part in NXP’s commercial transformation—evolving legacy processes into
digitally enabled, data-driven, and highly scalable operating models that accelerate growth and improve customer impact.
Serving as a strategic partner to EMEA Sales Leadership and Global Sales Operations, this leader will drive
end-to-end sales operations transformation, balancing near-term execution excellence with long-term capability building.
Job Responsibility
Sales Operations Transformation Leadership
- Own and lead the EMEA Sales Operations transformation, aligned with global initiatives.
- Modernize planning, forecasting, and performance management
- Enable sales productivity through process simplification, automation, and advanced analytics
- Build a future-ready sales operations organization capable of scaling with NXP’s growth ambitions
- Identify structural, process, and capability gaps; design and implement scalable solutions
- Drive adoption of new operating models, tools, and behaviors across diverse EMEA markets
- Act as a change leader, ensuring strong stakeholder alignment and sustainable transformation outcomes
Strategic Sales Planning & Go-to-Market Evolution
- Redesign and optimize sales planning frameworks, including territory design, quota methodology, and capacity models
- Partner with Sales and Marketing to evolve go-to-market strategies, including direct, channel, and hybrid models
- Ensure sales coverage models reflect customer segmentation, vertical priorities, and growth opportunities
Forecasting, Insights & Advanced Analytics
- Transform regional forecasting into a predictive, insight-led discipline, improving accuracy and confidence
- Build executive-ready dashboards and performance insights across pipeline, bookings, backlog, and revenue
- Leverage analytics to shift the organization from reporting past results to shaping future outcomes
Process, Systems & Digital Enablement
- Lead regional adoption and continuous enhancement of CRM (e.g., Salesforce) and sales enablement platforms
- Simplify and standardize sales processes while eliminating non-value-added complexity
- Partner with Global Sales Operations and IT to pilot and scale digital, AI-enabled, and automation-driven capabilities
Organizational Capability Building
- Build, lead, and develop a high-impact, transformation-oriented Sales Operations team
- Upskill the organization in data literacy, commercial acumen, and change agility
- Establish a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and customer-centricity
Cross-Functional & Enterprise Leadership
- Serve as a key interface between EMEA Sales, Finance and BL’s
- Influence enterprise-wide decisions by bringing a strong regional perspective and fact-based insights
- Ensure transformation initiatives are financially sound, operationally feasible, and scalable
Governance, Risk & Compliance
- Ensure sales operations transformation aligns with NXP governance, pricing discipline, and internal controls
- Strengthen deal governance and approval frameworks while improving speed and customer experience
Experience
Job Qualification:
- 15+ years in Sales Operations, Commercial Operations, or Revenue Operations
- 7+ years leading large-scale, regional or global commercial transformation initiatives
- Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred. Business Administration, Supply Chain, Finance or Marketing degrees preferred
- Demonstrated success transforming sales operations in complex B2B environments
- Deep expertise in sales transformation, operating model design, and change management
- Strong command of sales planning, forecasting, pipeline governance, and analytics
- Ability to translate strategy into executable roadmaps and measurable outcomes
- Experience within semiconductors, high-tech, or industrial sectors strongly preferred
- Proven track record operating across EMEA’s diverse markets and cultures
- Requires demonstrated experience and expert understanding of Billings, Resales, MOS and Inventory
- Strong executive-level communication and influencing skills, coupled with an ability to study, summarize and communicate efficiently under pressure and time constraints
- Proven ability to confidently and affirmly express concepts clearly and precisely in written, verbal and presentation communication with customers, business groups and key stakeholders
- Proven analytical skills in Excel (vlookup, PowerBI) as there is significant interpretation of big data
- Experience with SFDC (Salesforce) and ModelN
