Consumer Genius is seeking a modern, seasoned, strategic, and commercially minded Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the company’s global finance function across the United States, United Kingdom, and other international markets. This executive will be a core member of the leadership team and a key partner to the CEO and Board, responsible for financial strategy, governance, performance management, and scalable financial infrastructure.
The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in accounting, tax, and cross-border structuring, combined with a modern, technology-forward mindset—leveraging AI, advanced analytics, and automation to enhance forecasting, performance insight, and decision-making at scale.
Key Responsibilities Strategic & Board Leadership
- Serve as principal financial advisor to the CEO and Board of Directors on strategy, performance, capital allocation, and risk management.
- Lead long-range planning, annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and multi-scenario financial modeling.
- Provide clear, concise, and decision-oriented financial reporting to the Board, including KPIs, unit economics, and strategic analysis.
- Play a central role in corporate strategy, including market expansion, new business lines, and M&A initiatives.
Financial Stewardship, Governance & Controls
- Oversee all accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls across US, UK, and international entities.
- Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant financial statements in accordance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Lead audit processes and manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, legal counsel, and financial institutions.
- Establish and maintain strong financial governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks appropriate for a scaling, multi-jurisdictional business.
Tax, Cross-Border & Corporate Structuring
- Own global tax strategy, including US and UK tax compliance, international tax planning, and cross-border structuring.
- Oversee transfer pricing, intercompany agreements, and multi-entity consolidations.
- Optimize global cash management, treasury, working capital, and capital efficiency.
- Provide financial leadership on international expansion, ensuring tax efficiency, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation.
Performance, Data, AI & Financial Transformation
- Drive the evolution of a modern, data-driven finance function using AI, automation, and advanced analytics.
- Enhance forecasting accuracy, performance monitoring, margin analysis, and scenario planning through technology and intelligent systems.
- Implement executive dashboards and real-time performance reporting for leadership and the Board.
- Identify and execute opportunities to improve profitability, operational efficiency, and capital effectiveness.
Team, Systems & Operational Excellence
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing global finance organization spanning accounting, FP&A, tax, and treasury.
- Oversee financial systems, reporting infrastructure, and process scalability to support continued growth.
- Establish a culture of rigor, accountability, continuous improvement, and business partnership within the finance function.
Capital Markets & Stakeholder Management
- Lead capital strategy, including fundraising, debt facilities, banking relationships, and investor communications as applicable.
- Prepare and present board-level materials, investor updates, and strategic financial narratives.
- Act as a trusted partner to shareholders, lenders, and other key stakeholders.
Candidate Profile
- 12+ years of progressive senior finance leadership experience, including CFO, SVP Finance, or equivalent at a multi-entity or international business.
- Deep expertise in:
- Accounting and financial reporting
- US and UK tax frameworks and international tax planning
- Cross-border transactions, multi-entity structures, and consolidations
- Proven experience operating in complex, growth-oriented, or internationally scaled businesses.
- Demonstrated ability to modernize finance functions using technology, automation, AI, and advanced analytics.
- Strong track record with audits, external advisors, governance, and board-level reporting.
- Strategic, commercial, and analytical mindset with the ability to operate at both executive and operational levels.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with experience engaging Boards, investors, and senior stakeholders.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in high-growth, digital, data-driven, or performance-oriented businesses.
- Exposure to M&A, capital raises, or private equity / growth equity environments.
- Track record of building scalable finance organizations across geographies.

Pay: $85,904.50-$232,534.80 per year
