We have an established track-record on our flagship compliance product within the care space that can integrate into almost any system. We are now looking to branch out into wider sectors with 3 off-shoot products: A funding and compliance investigation platform in care, an always-on voice/chat that integrates into your existing management systems in Facilities Management and a data migration platform in SaaS.
The role
This is a founding, hands-on new business role. Your job is to take strong product ideas into the market, pressure-test them fast, open doors, and close early revenue - while feeding back what the market is actually buying so we shape product and messaging.
You will operate like a hybrid of:
- Senior AE (full-cycle closing)
- GTM discovery lead (ICP + messaging validation)
- Product “edge” (clear requirements based on customer truth)
What you’ll do
- Run customer discovery: interview prospects, define ICP, map buying triggers, identify “must-have” vs “nice-to-have”
- Build pipeline from scratch via targeted outbound (email/LinkedIn/calls) + network
- Own full sales cycle: prospecting → discovery → demo/value proof → proposal → negotiation → close
- Sell technical solutions credibly (you can work with product/engineering, not hide behind them)
- Turn learning into positioning, packaging, and pricing recommendations
- Create early GTM assets: talk tracks, objection handling, simple case studies, repeatable playbooks
- Be brutally honest internally: what’s landing, what’s not, and why
What “good” looks like in 90 days
- A clear ICP hypothesis tested with real conversations
- A repeatable outreach message that generates meetings
- A qualified pipeline with agreed next steps and timelines
- At least 2–3 closed wins or pilots (depending on cycle length), and a credible path to more
- A short list of product changes that directly unblock sales
Must-have experience (non-negotiable)
- You’ve sold B2B SaaS / AI / integration / workflow automation into mid-market/complex environments
- You’ve done 0→1 / early-stage selling where the product and messaging weren’t finished
- You can create pipeline yourself (not just run demos for inbound)
- You can evidence performance with numbers: pipeline created, win rate, ACV, cycle time
- You can translate market feedback into clear product requirements (not vague opinions)
Package
- Base: £70k–£95k
- OTE: £140k–£190k (uncapped)
- Equity: available for the right person, subject to performance
