Assistant Vice President / Senior Manager – Investment Operations (Private Funds)
Location: Bangalore / Mumbai (Hybrid)
Shift: PST (US Markets)
Role Summary
We are looking for a senior Investment Operations leader with 12–18 years of experience in private equity or investment operations to oversee end-to-end fund and deal operations. This is a high-ownership role supporting US investment teams, managing liquidity, credit facilities, transaction execution, and operational controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end lifecycle of PE investments (capital calls, distributions, exits)
- Oversee deal closing: funding memos, wires, FX, compliance checks
- Manage fund-level credit facilities (borrow/repay, interest, fee computation)
- Drive cash forecasting, liquidity planning, and treasury operations
- Ensure accurate booking of investments, cash, and FX transactions
- Strengthen reconciliations, controls, and audit readiness
- Partner with Investment, Finance, Legal, banks, and fund administrators
- Mentor team members and drive process automation/improvements
Candidate Profile
- 12–18 years in Private Equity Fund Operations / Investment Operations / IB Middle Office
- Strong understanding of PE fund structures (LP/GP), debt instruments, and credit lines
- Deep experience in deal execution support and cash management
- Hands-on with reconciliations, audit coordination, and transaction oversight
- Advanced Excel; experience with fund accounting/portfolio systems preferred
- Prior exposure to US-based stakeholders
- Flexible to work EST / PST shifts
Preferred
- CA / CPA / CFA
- Experience in global PE firms, asset managers, or fund administrators
- Team management experience
