Job Overview
This role is a strategic launchpad for a future C-suite finance leader rather than a traditional finance head position. The Finance Director will operate within the CFO Office, focusing initially on enterprise-wide transformation projects including ERP optimization, system-driven reporting, and complex integrations.
The role involves close partnership with the Group CFO on high-impact initiatives such as M&A, commercial modeling, compliance exposure, and global expansion, with a clear progression path toward leading the broader finance function.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead ERP optimization initiatives to achieve system-driven, zero-touch financial processes
- Drive integration of ERP with global banking partners and internal systems
- Design scalable finance systems capable of handling high-volume transaction growth
- Build real-time, dashboard-driven reporting aligned with Private Equity requirements
- Partner with IT and Finance teams on data architecture and system governance
- Support financial due diligence for acquisitions and expansion into new markets
- Develop commercial and pricing models with business leadership
- Act as strategic advisor and extension of the CFO on cross-functional initiatives
- Support legal, contracts, and compliance risk assessment in collaboration with leadership
- Mentor existing finance leaders and upgrade processes for scale and growth
- Build credibility to eventually lead the broader finance organization
Must-Have Qualifications
- 13+ years of progressive finance experience in high-growth or high-volume environments
- Proven experience leading ERP optimization or complex systems integration projects
- Strong background in FP&A, financial modeling, and strategic finance
- Experience in Private Equity-backed or fast-scaling organizations
- Ability to operate hands-on as an individual contributor in transformation roles
- Strong understanding of high-volume transaction businesses (Fintech, B2C Tech, Telecom, etc.)
- Professional qualification such as CA, CPA, ACCA, or MBA Finance
- Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Prior exposure to M&A, due diligence, and integration projects
- Experience working closely with global CFOs or executive leadership
- Tech-fluent mindset with understanding of APIs, databases, and financial systems
- Exposure to legal, compliance, and regulatory risk management
