Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Chief Finance Officer to lead our organization toward sustained growth and operational excellence. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all strategic, financial functions, ensuring alignment with our mission and long-term objectives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional, financial acumen, and a deep understanding of diverse accounting standards and regulatory frameworks. Your expertise will drive innovation, foster stakeholder relationships, and uphold the highest standards of fiscal management and compliance.
The Role
Build the financial architecture for one of the UK’s fastest-growing companies. You will manage a £3M property acquisition and a £15-20M fit-out, plus £20m investment into our our server racks and GPU clusters. We want to own our own compute, as we deploy globally with Silverwings and new ventures born from our incredible autonomous AI engine, while maximizing the fiscal advantages of the North East AI Growth Zone. This would include, an enhanced rate of R&D reclaim of 186%, a 3 year holiday from NI on an all new employees(currently 35 and growing at 20 per month to June when we will likely triple that monthly induction figure), enhanced utility rate subsidies, VAT relief on our £3m property purchase, tracking our financial targets to hit £5m MRR by 2026 and oversee our foreign market currency investment and transaction handling.

Key Deliverables
- Manage capital projects including HQ acquisition and AI infrastructure investment.
- Oversee both the purchase of our new home and the incredible array of features at Cloudbreak, not least a 5 storey aquarium, quad waterfalls. luxury enclosed pool to the rear, gym, children's creche, doggy day care, bar and restaurant for staff and special partners, on-site luxury c-suite apartments and lounge. Cloudbreak will be a landmark building for many reasons.
- Structure technology assets for maximum strategic optionality.
- Prepare infra for foreign markets as Silverwings expands into multiple OECD countries and ventures born from our incredible AI platform start to scale.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a senior financial leadership role(s) with a strong background in managing the financial requirements of complex organisations across diverse sectors and foreign markets.
- Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in Accounting, Finance, Business Management or related field; advanced certifications are highly desirable.
