The Sales Operations Assistant will play a pivotal role in the efficient execution of our sales activities. The Assistant will work closely with the sales team and logistics to ensure orders are processed accurately and delivered on time.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Order Processing: Receive and process sales orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring they meet customer requirements and align with company policies.
- Communication: Act as a liaison between the sales team, customers, and internal departments to facilitate effective communication and resolve any order-related issues promptly.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining optimal inventory levels by coordinating with the supply chain team to ensure products are available for customer orders.
- Sales Support: Provide administrative support to the sales team, including preparing sales reports, presentations, and maintaining customer records.
- Customer Service: Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly, providing excellent customer service to build and maintain positive relationships.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of sales transactions, contracts, and agreements.
- Reporting: Assist in compiling and analyzing sales data to identify trends and opportunities, supporting the development of sales strategies.
- Sales Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the sales team to provide them with the necessary information and resources to meet their sales targets.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all sales orders and related documents meet quality standards and compliance requirements.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- Prior experience in sales support, coordination, or a similar role, preferably in the CPG industry.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and sales software.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field is a plus).
WORK SCHEDULE/HOURS: Monday through Friday 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
PAY RANGE: $50,000 - $60,000 per year
