Role
We are hiring a dynamic and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for our client
company, a growing IT organization with operations in Chennai and international
offices across the US, UK, and Singapore. The CFO will be responsible for leading
the financial strategy, ensuring strong financial governance, and supporting global
business expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the overall financial strategy, planning, and forecasting process
- Manage budgeting, financial reporting, and cash flow management
- Oversee accounting operations, taxation, audit, and statutory compliance (India & international exposure preferred)
- Develop and implement financial controls and risk management strategies
- Monitor financial performance and provide strategic recommendations to leadership
- Handle banking relationships, fundraising, and investor reporting (if applicable)
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements across geographies
- Drive cost optimization and profitability initiatives
- Lead and mentor the finance team
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the Finance Department within the IT industry
- Strong knowledge of financial planning, reporting, taxation, and compliance
- Experience handling multi-country financial operations (US, UK, Singapore exposure preferred)
- CA qualification preferred but not mandatory; strong non-CA finance professionals can apply
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and strategic thinking skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
Preferred Skill
- Experience in IT/Software services companies
- Knowledge of international taxation and transfer pricing
- Experience with ERP systems and financial automation tools
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
