Position Summary
VotaryTech is seeking a dynamic and business-oriented Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead financial strategy, governance, planning, compliance, and growth initiatives. The CFO will drive financial performance, optimize working capital, manage banking relationships, ensure statutory compliance, and provide strategic insights to leadership.
Reporting Structure
Direct Reports: Finance Controller, Payroll Executive, Statutory Executive, AP/AR Team, Finance Operations Team.
Financial Strategy & Leadership
Develop financial strategy, support growth initiatives, drive profitability, establish governance, and partner with business leaders on strategic decisions.
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, profitability analysis, business planning, and variance analysis across projects and business units.
Cash Flow & Working Capital Management
Own rolling cash flow forecasts, optimize receivables and payables, improve working capital efficiency, and drive collection effectiveness.
Banking, Funding & Treasury
Manage banking relationships, OD/CC facilities, CMA data, funding proposals, treasury operations, and lender compliance.
Project & Delivery Finance
Monitor project profitability, delivery margins, resource utilization, project forecasts, and financial controls.
Compliance, Audit & Governance
Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, PT, Companies Act and oversee statutory, internal, tax, and transfer pricing audits.
Payroll & Workforce Finance
Oversee payroll governance, employee reimbursements, payroll compliance, final settlements, and workforce cost analysis.
Risk Management
Identify, assess, and mitigate financial, operational, compliance, and credit risks while maintaining strong internal controls.
Management Reporting
Present P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Budget vs Actuals, AR/AP Aging, Project Profitability, and Working Capital reports to leadership.
Team Leadership
Build and mentor a high-performing finance team focused on accountability, automation, process excellence, and business partnership.
Required Qualifications
CA / CMA / MBA Finance preferred. 12–20 years of finance leadership experience in technology, engineering services, IT/ITES, or professional services organizations.
Mandatory Experience
FP&A, Budgeting, Forecasting, Financial Modeling, Banking & Treasury, Working Capital Management, Compliance, Project Finance, Team Leadership, and Executive Reporting.
Success Metrics
EBITDA Growth, Cash Flow Improvement, DSO Reduction, Compliance Accuracy, Project Profitability, Budget Accuracy, and Finance Team Effectiveness.
