Role Overview
As a Sales Operations Manager, you will be responsible for driving operational efficiency and data accuracy across the enterprise sales function. Your primary focus will be managing CRM hygiene, tracking pipeline performance, supporting revenue forecasting, and enabling the sales team with structured reporting and process optimization. You will work closely with sales, finance, onboarding, and leadership teams to ensure seamless deal tracking, accurate revenue visibility, and smooth handovers post-closure. This role acts as the operational backbone of the revenue function.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain CRM systems to ensure data accuracy, pipeline visibility, and structured stage movement.
- Track and monitor the sales pipeline including deal stages, probabilities, closure timelines, and revenue projections.
- Build and maintain dashboards for weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reporting.
- Support revenue forecasting by analyzing pipeline health, conversion rates, and deal velocity.
- Conduct regular pipeline audits to ensure hygiene and completeness of sales data.
- Track sales targets, achievement metrics, and assist in incentive/commission calculations.
- Coordinate with sales and operations teams for smooth deal handover and onboarding readiness.
- Identify process gaps and implement workflow improvements to increase efficiency.
- Generate insights on conversion trends, drop-offs, pricing patterns, and overall sales productivity.
Requirements
- 2–6 years of experience in Sales Operations, Business Operations, Revenue Operations, or Sales Analytics in a B2B environment.
- Strong understanding of enterprise sales cycles and pipeline management.
- Hands-on experience with CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, or similar).
- Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
- High attention to detail and ability to maintain data accuracy.
- Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
