Senior Business Systems Analyst-Applications Development

Description

Develop and maintain business requirements, business acceptance criteria and requirements traceability matrix of complex business applications using cloud computing technologies;
Develop and maintain ownership of functional design, process flows, and system requirements specifications;
Implement ITSM processes and catalogs from defined and architected solutions and be responsible for optimizing the experience at scale for customers who need support services across products and applications;
Be responsible for Salesforce and BMC Remedy Remedyforce cloud application integrations of complex ITSM processes and support a large 5000+ user base;
Be responsible for end-to-end implementations of BMC Remedyforce applications, object and field to support an integrated ITSM Service Catalog and ensure business continuity and scalability;
Understand, design and develop business objectives and user requirements and convert them into solution designs based on ITIL v3 libraries on Change Management, Digital Transformations, Service Management, Service Catalog, etc.;
Be responsible for using databases technologies like MS SQL Server and Oracle to develop SQL data requirements, using complex SQL queries for data profiling, and work with large data sets for analytics purposes for users;
Maintain all aspects of application lifecycle management using Agile/Scrum methodology, including systems analysis, user stories, solutions design, implementation, testing, UAT, and post-implementation support using ITIL libraries, ensuring overall user compatibility and satisfaction.

Requirements

BA or BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Masters degree a plus in related field.
5+ years' experience working as a Senior Business Systems Analyst.
Strong analytics and creative problem solving skills.
Project management skills.
Process oriented (i.e. change control, requirement gathering, process flow diagramming, system flow diagramming, testing, etc.).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience working in an agile environment, familiarity with Waterfall methodologies.
Preferred experience with Development, SQL, and MS SSMS.
