A Berlin-based, fast-growing technology company is seeking an Interim Director of Business Operations on a 14-month contract.
This is a high-impact, hands-on leadership role. You will take full ownership of the company’s operations, including finance, legal, and compliance, ensuring smooth and efficient business processes. The role offers the chance to work closely with the CEO, shape operational excellence, and make a tangible impact in a dynamic, scale-up environment.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage financial operations, including reporting, budgeting, and cashflow
- Oversee legal and compliance matters, including contracts and licenses
- Prepare investor reports and support board governance processes
- Drive operational improvements and ensure smooth cross-team collaboration
- Act as a key operational partner to the CEO, supporting strategic initiatives as needed
- Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
OUR REQUIRED EXPERTISE
- 7+ years’ experience in business operations, finance, or operational leadership, ideally in tech or scale-ups
- Hands-on experience managing finance, legal, and compliance functions
- B2B SaaS industry experience would be highly advantageous
- High autonomy, strong problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
