Company Description
UFactory is a leading developer of collaborative robotic arms and accessories, with products deployed across research, education, manufacturing, and creative industries worldwide. Our arms are trusted by engineers, makers, and enterprises in over 40 countries. As we accelerate our North American commercial presence, we're looking for a hungry Sales & Operations Coordinator to help us grow.
Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Sales Operations Coordinator based in the NYC (Midtown). The Sales Operations Coordinator will support and optimize sales processes, coordinate between sales and customer support teams, assist in managing customer relationships, and ensure smooth communication within the sales operations. Additional responsibilities include tracking sales performance metrics, addressing customer inquiries, and providing operational and administrative support to the team.
What You'll Own
- Research and identify potential leads across target verticals: research labs, universities, manufacturing, creative studios, and enterprise R&D
- Support the sales cycle — outreach, demo scheduling, follow-ups, and proposal preparation
- Execute outbound sequences via email and LinkedIn under guidance from leadership
- Maintain a clean and up-to-date pipeline in the CRM
- Assist at trade shows, robotics meetups, and industry events
- Manage CRM (HubSpot or equivalent) — data hygiene, pipeline reporting, deal stage management
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvements
- Support co-marketing initiatives with distributors, system integrators, and academic partners
- Help coordinate content and campaigns that generate inbound demand (case studies, demos, LinkedIn)
- Coordinate order processing, invoicing, and fulfillment tracking, etc.
What We're Looking For
- 1–3 years of experience in sales support, operations, business development, or a related role — internships count
- Some exposure to outbound sales or lead generation; comfortable picking up the phone or sending a cold email
- Basic CRM experience (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar) or a strong willingness to learn
- Highly organized and detail-oriented — you don't let things fall through the cracks
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter who takes initiative and doesn't need to be micromanaged
- Comfort with basic invoicing, purchase orders, or order tracking is a plus
- Interest in robotics, automation, or hardware products is a plus — not required
- Mandarin language skills are a bonus given our China HQ collaboration
Nice to Have
- Experience selling hardware into manufacturing, or enterprise R&D environments
- Background in or familiarity with collaborative robots, robotic arms, or automation systems
What We Offer
- Base salary of $55,000–$75,000 depending on experience, plus performance-based commission
- Hands-on experience with cutting-edge robotics products at the frontier of automation
- Mentorship and direct access to leadership — you'll learn sales, ops, and business development from the ground up
- Clear path to grow into a more senior sales or operations role as the North American team scales
- Health, dental, and vision benefits
- Flexible hybrid work environment
