Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial operations and drive sustainable growth. As a key member of the executive leadership team, the CFO will oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, risk analysis, and compliance. This role demands a proactive leader with exceptional financial acumen, strategic vision, and the ability to navigate complex financial landscapes. Duties
- Develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies aligned with organizational goals to maximize profitability and growth.
- Oversee corporate accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting in compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), IAS (International Accounting Standards), and ASC 606 standards.
- Lead risk management efforts by conducting thorough risk analysis, implementing SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) controls, and ensuring COSO (Committee of Sponsoring Organizations) framework adherence.
- Manage treasury functions including cash flow management, banking relationships, and liquidity planning to support operational needs.
- Drive revenue management initiatives through market analysis, revenue cycle management, and strategic pricing strategies.
- Supervise budgeting processes, expense control measures, cost management strategies, and cost accounting practices to optimize resource allocation.
- Oversee mergers & acquisitions activities by evaluating potential opportunities, conducting due diligence, and integrating new entities seamlessly into existing structures.
- Prepare detailed financial reports for senior leadership and board members; interpret complex financial data to inform strategic decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements for governmental agencies and maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in financial regulations affecting the organization.
- Lead business development efforts by analyzing market trends, identifying growth opportunities, and supporting strategic planning initiatives.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in senior financial leadership roles with a strong background in corporate finance, public accounting, or non-profit accounting.
- Extensive knowledge of financial concepts including profit & loss management, forecasting, fiscal management, and revenue cycle management.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing SOX controls, COSO frameworks, IFRS standards, GAAP compliance, and ASC 606 revenue recognition standards.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial reports and conduct comprehensive market analysis.
- Exceptional leadership capabilities with experience supervising teams in finance and IT departments; skilled in management and business development strategies.
- Proficiency in advanced financial software systems along with technical accounting expertise such as tax accounting and cost accounting.
- Excellent negotiation skills paired with strategic thinking to support organizational growth initiatives.
- Ability to manage risk effectively while fostering a culture of continuous improvement in financial practices.
- Strong communication skills for clear financial report writing and interpretation for diverse audiences including senior leadership and external stakeholders. Pay: $170,000.00 - $215,000.00 per year
