Role Overview
The Director of Sales Operations will be a critical leader responsible for transforming and scaling the infrastructure, processes, and systems that power Gabriel & Co.’s sales organization.
This role sits at the center of Sales, Finance, Marketing, Customer Service, and Digital, ensuring that our regional sales managers and broader sales team are equipped with the tools, data, and processes needed to drive revenue growth and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Infrastructure & Process Excellence
● Redesign and standardize core sales processes across:
● Order flow and fulfillment coordination
● Trade shows, and Showcase programs
● Clienteling and retailer engagement
● Build scalable SOPs that enable consistency across regions
Sales Planning & Performance Management
● Partner with Finance (FP&A) to:
○ Develop sales forecasts and targets
○ Monitor performance vs. plan (by region, product, and channel)
○ Improve profitability visibility at account and product levels
● Own sales reporting cadence:
○ Weekly pipeline and performance dashboards
CRM, Tools & Technology Enablement
● Partner with IT and Digital to:
○ Improve CRM adoption and data quality
○ Introduce automation and AI-driven insights
○ Ensure seamless integration between B2B, B2C, and digital channels
Sales Compensation & Incentives
● Partner with Finance to:
○ Design and optimize commission & incentive structures
○ Automate commission calculations and reporting
○ Ensure alignment between incentives and company objectives (margin, sell-through, etc.)
Field Enablement & Training
Equip Regional Sales Managers with:
● Clear playbooks and sales tools
● Data-driven insights for account planning
● Partner with HR (L&D) to elevate sales capabilities
Leadership & Accountability
● Lead a high-performing Sales Operations team
● Define roles, responsibilities, and workflows within Sales Ops
● Support broader organizational evolution as Gabriel & Co. scales
Qualifications
● 8–12+ years in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or related roles
● Experience in wholesale, retail, luxury, or consumer goods industries
● Proven track record of building and scaling sales operations in a growing company
● Strong analytical and financial acumen (forecasting, profitability analysis)
● Experience implementing CRM systems and sales tech stacks
● Exceptional cross-functional leadership skills
Desirable
● Experience in jewelry, fashion, or beauty industries
● Experience supporting field sales teams (regional or territory-based)
Salary: $160,000 - $180,000
