Role Description
This is a part-time (1 day a week or every other week), on-site Chief Financial Officer (CFO) role located in Stevenage, Hertfordshire. The CFO will oversee the financial operations of the organisation, including budgeting, financial planning, and preparing detailed financial statements. Responsibilities include monitoring financial performance, ensuring regulatory compliance, leading financial reporting processes, and providing strategic insights to the executive team to drive growth and operational efficiency. The CFO will also be instrumental in managing financial risks and optimising resource allocation.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Financial Planning, including budget development and long-term financial strategy
- Proficiency in preparing, analysing, and interpreting Financial Statements
- Strong background in Finance and Financial Reporting practices aligned with regulatory standards
- Exceptional Analytical Skills for financial forecasting, risk management, and decision-making
- Proven leadership abilities and effective communication skills with stakeholders
- Qualifications in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; a CPA, CFA, or MBA is an advantage but not essential, experience and out put is the most important
- Experience in managing financial operations in mid-size to large organizations, particularly within the professional services industry, is beneficial
