Deputy CFO who will support the CFO in
financial strategy, compliance, financial operations, reporting, and investment structuring to ensure financial discipline and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities (KRA)
- Financial Planning & Strategy
- Support the CFO in developing and executing the company’s financial strategy and long-term financial planning.
- Prepare financial forecasts, budgeting frameworks, and cash flow projections.
- Monitor company performance against financial plans and recommend corrective strategies.
- Assist in capital allocation decisions for real estate investments and projects.
- Financial Operations & Reporting
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounting, financial reporting, and treasury management.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for leadership and stakeholders.
- Develop financial reporting systems and dashboards for tracking performance across projects and assets.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of MIS reports and management insights.
- Investment Structuring & Asset Financial Management
- Work with the investment team to structure real estate investment vehicles and financial models.
- Conduct financial analysis and valuation of real estate assets and projects.
- Monitor asset-level financial performance, including revenue, operating costs, and yield.
- Support financial modeling for new projects, acquisitions, and portfolio expansion.
- Compliance, Governance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with SEBI, RBI, taxation laws, and other regulatory requirements relevant to real estate investments and alternative funds.
- Oversee statutory compliance, financial audits, and internal control systems.
- Implement strong risk management frameworks and governance policies.
- Coordinate with auditors, legal advisors, and regulatory bodies.
- Treasury & Cash Flow Management
- Manage cash flow planning, liquidity management, and working capital optimization.
- Monitor financial risks and ensure effective treasury management practices.
- Optimize capital utilization across various real estate assets and investment structures.
- Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Support the CFO in leading the finance and accounting team.
- Collaborate with investment, legal, operations, and technology teams to ensure seamless execution of transactions.
- Implement best practices in financial management and operational efficiency.
- Mentor finance team members and help build scalable finance processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8–12 years of experience in finance roles within real estate, Prop Tech, alternative investments, private equity, or financial services.
- Strong expertise in financial planning, accounting, financial reporting, and MIS management.
- Experience in real estate financial modeling, project finance, and asset-level analysis.
- Deep understanding of SEBI regulations, taxation laws, and financial compliance frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of investment structuring, valuation techniques, and financial analysis.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- CA / CFA / MBA Finance preferred.
