📌 The Role
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
We are looking for a strategic yet hands-on CFO / Head – Finance & Accounts to lead and own the complete finance function of the organisation. Reporting directly to the Director/CEO, you will be a critical member of the leadership team — driving financial discipline, enabling business decisions with data, and ensuring the company scales profitably and compliantly.
This is not a back-office role. You will partner with operations, procurement, and senior leadership to bring financial rigour to every part of the business.

🎯 What You Will Own

Strategy & Planning
→ Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with business growth and long-term profitability
→ Own the organisation's P&L across all business units and branches
→ Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning
→ Drive capital structure optimisation, manage banking relationships, and oversee funding strategies
→ Evaluate and mitigate financial risks through proactive scenario planning
Accounting & Compliance
→ Oversee end-to-end accounting — AP, AR, GL, reconciliations, and financial reporting
→ Ensure timely finalization of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
→ Manage full statutory compliance — GST, TDS, Income Tax, and ROC filings
→ Liaise with statutory auditors, internal auditors, tax consultants, and legal advisors
→ Implement robust internal controls, SOPs, and compliance systems
Operations & Controls
→ Manage branch-wise and client-wise profitability analysis and cost controls
→ Supervise cash flow, working capital, and fund flow across all locations
→ Maintain branch-level accounting systems for consistent financial governance
→ Monitor procurement for cost control, vendor compliance, and financial accountability
→ Interact with clients on billing, reconciliation, and commercial terms
→ Ensure real-time financial dashboards and reporting to support operational decisions
Technology
→ Lead ERP system optimisation and digital transformation within the finance function
→ Drive adoption of financial analytics tools for data-driven decision-making

✅ What We're Looking For
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
▪ Chartered Accountant (CA) — mandatory
▪ Minimum 15 years of experience, with 5+ years in a senior finance leadership role
▪ Strong command over finance, taxation, and accounting principles
▪ Proven experience in multi-location finance operations — logistics or 3PL preferred
▪ Hands-on with ERP systems and financial analytics tools
▪ Ability to balance strategic foresight with day-to-day execution
▪ Comfortable working in a founder-led, high-accountability environment
