As the organisation continues to expand, leadership is now placing a strong focus on modernising internal operations through smarter systems, automation and the integration of AI to improve efficiency and decision making across the entire business.
The Opportunity
This is a newly created role designed to bring structure, consistency and momentum to the internal operations of this evolving organisation. Sitting at the intersection of business operations, people leadership and technology strategy, this role will act as a central connector across all arms of the business, including Finance, HR, Development, Marketing and Sales. A key component of the role will be identifying and implementing AI tools and automation/digital systems that enhance the way the business operates. The position will focus on improving internal processes, driving new technology adoption and supporting the leadership team as the business continues its growth trajectory. It is a hands-on role that requires experience, initiative and sound judgement. This role will suit someone who enjoys ownership, influence and variety in their day, and who is excited by the opportunity to shape how a growing business will integrate AI into its current operating model.
Key Focus Areas & Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day business and office operations: policies, workflows, meeting structures, facilities and operational governance
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies and implementing practical systems and workflows within different business arms
- Develop and lead the organisation’s AI adoption roadmap, identifying opportunities where automation and AI can improve productivity and operational efficiency
- Oversee the selection, implementation and integration of AI tools and business IT systems, including CRM, project management platforms and internal reporting tools
- Support ESG, OH&S and compliance requirements, including policy implementation and reporting
- Act as a central liaison across the leadership team and external HR partners to support people and culture initiatives as well as organisational effectiveness
The Right Candidate Will Be
- Commercially minded, highly organised and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment, with a proven track record in a similar role or aligning skillset
- Experienced in AI strategy, digital transformation or technology implementation and comfortable identifying where these tools can improve operational efficiency
- Someone who enjoys building systems and processes from the ground up, whilst managing the competing needs of varying business units and their senior stakeholders
- Collaborative in nature, motivated to facilitate change, and ready to roll up their sleeves in a challenging but integral factor in the company's continued success
The Finer Details
- The business is looking to interview, hire and ultimately have the right candidate commence in this role ASAP so notice periods of longer than 4 weeks may not be suitable
- Salary on offer of circa $200,000 - $220,000 plus Superannuation, based on skillset, experience and value add, with the potential for future goal-based incentives
- City fringe office location, close to public transport, with WFH option 1 day per week
- Property experience is ideal but not essential; backgrounds in technology, consulting, operations/other fields, with strong AI implementation experience, are encouraged to apply
