The Role: Chief Revenue Officer (CRO)
As our Chief Revenue Officer, you will oversee a team of internal and external sales professionals, key account managers, customer care executives, and manage pricing and revenue strategy. This is a newly created role, offering a unique opportunity to build a structure and assemble a team from the ground up. We're looking for individuals who are passionate about our product and eager to take ownership of their role.
Responsibilities
- Revenue Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive revenue generation strategies aligned with our business goals, focusing on both short-term growth and long-term sustainability.
- Market Expansion: Identify and target potential enterprise customers in line with our target market, leveraging your understanding of the European enterprise landscape and international trends.
- Sales Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing sales unit, coaching and mentoring the team to exceed sales targets. Foster a culture of innovation, resilience, and adaptability.
- Customer Segmentation: Analyze customer segments, tailoring value propositions to appeal to both smaller clients and high-value enterprise clients.
- Investor Relations: Collaborate closely with investors, providing strategic insights into revenue-generating initiatives and leveraging their expertise to drive business growth.
- Market Penetration: Develop go-to-market strategies to enter new markets and expand our reach, leveraging your experience in scaling early-stage startups.

The Ideal Candidate
Background
- Experience leading structures in SaaS European B2B businesses.
- Proven success in building and implementing revenue growth strategies from the ground up.
- A consistent career track record, completing relevant cycles, and delivering return-driven projects.
Experience
- 5+ years of experience in sales and revenue management leadership roles within high-growth SaaS businesses.
- Demonstrated ability to manage commercial and financial performance indicators.
- Fluency in English is mandatory, and German is desirable.
Location
Based in Hamburg, Germany, with the possibility of working remotely and ideally hybrid in Hamburg.
