The Business Operations Associate provides comprehensive operational, analytical, and coordination support to the leadership team to drive business efficiency and execution of key initiatives. This role plays a critical part in supporting day-to-day operations, enabling strategic priorities, and improving processes across the organization.
Acting as a central liaison across departments, the Business Operations Associate supports cross-functional collaboration, operational reporting, and initiative tracking to ensure alignment with business goals. The role combines operational execution, business insights, and coordination to enhance overall performance and decision-making.
Reporting to the Regional Director – Western Canada, this position is ideal for a highly organized and proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys improving processes, supporting business operations, and contributing to the successful delivery of strategic initiatives.
Business Operations & Administrative Support
• Provide proactive operational and administrative support to the leadership team.
• Manage complex calendars, meeting coordination, and travel logistics to support business operations and strategic priorities.
• Prepare executive-level presentations, business reports, dashboards, and briefing materials.
• Coordinate leadership meetings, including agenda development, documentation of decisions, and tracking of action items.
• Maintain organized systems for operational documentation, records, and internal communications.
Operational Execution & Initiative Support
• Support the execution of business initiatives and operational priorities across departments.
• Assist in planning and tracking operational workstreams, timelines, and deliverables.
• Monitor progress of key initiatives and identify risks, inefficiencies, or delays.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of operational activities.
• Track action items and deliverables to ensure accountability and timely completion.
Reporting, Analytics & Business Insights
• Develop and maintain operational dashboards, tracking tools, and performance metrics.
• Compile and analyze operational data to generate insights and support decision-making.
• Prepare regular business performance reports and executive summaries.
• Support the development of proposals, and strategic updates.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and accessibility of operational data and reporting.
Process Improvement & Operational Excellence
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, workflows, and operational efficiency.
• Support implementation of process enhancements and best practices across teams.
• Assist in standardizing procedures, documentation, and operational frameworks.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and service delivery optimization.
Operational Coordination & Governance
• Coordinate processes related to vendor management, procurement, and contract administration. • Support compliance, audit activities, and operational reviews through proper documentation and coordination.
• Assist with rollout of new operational initiatives, site launches, or cross-functional projects.
• Ensure adherence to internal processes, policies, and governance standards.

Job Requirements
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• 3–7+ years of experience in business operations, operations coordination, or similar roles (adjustable based on seniority).
• Experience supporting cross-functional teams and business initiatives.
• Experience in hospitality, aviation, airport operations, or other service-driven environments is an asset.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills.
• Results-driven with the ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience supporting senior stakeholders. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to operational accuracy.
• Ability to identify inefficiencies and recommend practical solutions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
• Experience with data analysis, reporting tools, or dashboards is an asset.
• Familiarity with project or workflow management tools is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, coordination, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Able to obtain Transport Canada clearance for security pass (RAIC) to work at the airport.
Working Conditions
• Office environment with minimal exposure to adverse conditions.
• Monday-Friday, Hybrid 1 day home/week
• Frequent travel to the airport
