At NFU Mutual North Shropshire we are seeking an experienced People Manager to oversee the day-to-day performance across our three site agency. This is a hands-on leadership role, sitting between office management and senior management, with responsibility for 12–16 staff across multiple locations.
Reporting into our Partners, you will ensure each of our three offices operates efficiently, compliantly and with a strong customer focus, while supporting and developing managers and teams to perform at their best.
Key responsibilities include:

Leading and line managing teams across our three sites

Ensuring consistent service delivery, processes and standards

Supporting our team with people matters, performance and absence

Overseeing workflow, resourcing and day-to-day operational issues

Acting as a key point of escalation for complex queries or challenges

Supporting compliance within an FCA-regulated environment

Working closely with the Agency Partners to improve efficiency and performance

You will play a key role in managing and embedding incentive schemes, ensuring they are clearly understood, fairly applied and used effectively to drive performance, engagement and consistent service delivery across the three offices
About you:

Proven experience managing teams within an insurance, financial services or a regulated environment

Comfortable overseeing multiple sites or teams

Strong people-management and communication skills

Organised, pragmatic and solutions-focused

Confident balancing hands-on involvement with oversight

Location: We are a multi-site agency with offices in Market Drayton, Oswestry and Wem This role is hybrid with at least one day per week being based at each site and the option to work from home 1-2 days per week after probationary period is complete.
