Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Chief Finance Officer (CFO) to lead the financial strategy and operations of a growing real estate company. The CFO will be responsible for financial planning, project financing, budgeting, compliance, taxation, and investor relations while ensuring strong financial governance and supporting the company’s long-term growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company’s business goals.
- Provide strategic financial guidance to the CEO and senior leadership team.
- Drive financial planning for real estate project development, investments, and expansion.
- Oversee financial risk management and capital structure planning.
Financial Planning & Budgeting
- Lead annual budgeting, financial forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Monitor project-wise profitability, cost control, and financial performance.
- Develop financial models for new project feasibility and investment decisions.
Project Financing & Fund Management
- Manage project financing, loan structuring, and banking relationships.
- Coordinate with financial institutions, investors, and lenders for project funding.
- Ensure proper fund utilization and financial discipline across projects.
Accounting & Compliance
- Oversee financial accounting, auditing, taxation, and statutory compliance.
- Ensure compliance with GST, income tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
- Manage internal and external audit processes.
Investor & Stakeholder Management
- Maintain relationships with investors, banks, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies.
- Prepare financial reports, investor presentations, and board-level financial insights.
Cost Control & Financial Governance
- Implement strong financial controls and risk management frameworks.
- Monitor construction costs, project expenses, and operational budgets.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization and financial efficiency.
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor the finance, accounts, and audit teams.
- Establish KPIs, financial reporting systems, and process improvements.
- Build a high-performing finance team capable of supporting rapid business growth.
Required Skills
- Strong expertise in real estate financial management and project financing
- Deep understanding of financial planning, taxation, and compliance regulations
- Experience in fund raising, banking relationships, and investment structuring
- Strong analytical, leadership, and strategic decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Qualifications
- CA (Chartered Accountant) / MBA Finance preferred
- Additional certifications in financial management or corporate finance will be an advantage
Preferred Experience
- 18–20 years of experience in finance leadership roles within the real estate industry
- Experience handling large-scale real estate projects and financial structuring
- Strong exposure to project financing, real estate taxation, and regulatory compliance
