Role Summary
Industry: Manufacturing / Industrial / Engineering / Auto Components / Metals
The CFO will lead all financial operations including financial strategy, IPO readiness, compliance, investor relations, treasury management, financial planning & analysis, and risk management. The role will partner with senior leadership to drive sustainable growth, ensure financial discipline, and support the company’s transition into a public market-ready organization.
KRA: Task / Activities
Financial Strategy & Leadership
· Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy aligned with business growth objectives.
· Act as a strategic advisor to the CEO/MD and leadership team on financial planning and business expansion.
· Provide financial insights to support key strategic decisions.
IPO Readiness & Capital Markets
· Lead the company’s IPO preparation including financial restructuring, compliance readiness, and regulatory alignment.
· Coordinate with investment bankers, legal advisors, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
· Ensure readiness for SEBI regulations, listing requirements, and public market governance.
Financial Planning & Analysis
· Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
· Monitor business performance through financial dashboards and KPIs.
· Provide insights on revenue growth, margin improvement, and cost optimization.
Financial Reporting & Compliance
· Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting as per statutory and regulatory standards.
· Manage statutory audits, internal audits, and regulatory filings.
· Ensure compliance with tax regulations, corporate laws, and financial reporting standards.
Treasury & Banking
· Manage banking relationships, credit facilities, and funding strategies.
· Oversee cash flow planning and working capital management.
· Optimize capital structure and financing strategies.
Risk Management & Internal Controls
· Strengthen internal control frameworks and financial governance.
· Identify financial and operational risks and implement mitigation strategies.
· Ensure strong compliance and corporate governance standards.
Investor Relations
· Manage communication with investors, analysts, and stakeholders.
· Prepare investor presentations and financial disclosures.
· Support board reporting and shareholder communication.
Team Leadership
· Lead and mentor the finance and accounts team.
· Build strong finance processes, systems, and performance-driven culture.
KPI: Performance Metrics
· Successful IPO readiness and regulatory compliance.
· Accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.

Experience & Eligibility (E in BARE Fit)
Experience Range
15+ years of progressive finance experience with at least 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
Age: Preferably 40 – 55 years
Languages Known: English, Hindi (preferred)
Companies preparing for IPO or listed companies in manufacturing/industrial sectors.
Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory
