Summary
As a Business Operations Leader, you will lead the operational engine behind Joybuy’s marketplace growth. You will own the end-to-end operational strategy, enabling sellers, country teams, and internal stakeholders to achieve their goals through best-in-class processes, insights, and tools. You will manage a high-performing team responsible for sales enablement, operational workflows, analytics, and overall planning and reporting, ensuring the business runs efficiently and scales effectively.
This is a strategic role that combines operational leadership, data-driven insights, and cross-functional collaboration. You will work closely with marketplace country leads, product, and commercial teams to drive growth and improve the seller and customer experience at every touchpoint.
What You'll Do
- Define and implement scalable processes across sales, seller onboarding, and marketplace operations to maximize efficiency and growth
- Coordinate overall business planning, performance reporting, and forecasting across the marketplace
- Translate operational insights into strategic recommendations for leadership
- Oversee CRM systems, analytics, and operational workflows to empower teams to work faster and more effectively
- Build and maintain seller training programs, guides, videos, and webinars to ensure sellers can maximize performance on the marketplace
- Develop dashboards, KPIs, and reporting frameworks to track performance, highlight trends, and provide actionable insights to leadership
- Analyze operational data to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement
- Improve processes to ensure fast resolution of inquiries, disputes, and operational issues, maintaining high satisfaction for sellers and buyers
- Act as the escalation point for major operational challenges and translate learnings into process and improvements
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team responsible for operations, planning, reporting, and seller enablement
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, commercial, and country teams to align operations with marketplace growth goals
About You
- Proven leadership experience in marketplace operations, with a track record of scaling teams, processes, and platforms across multiple markets
- Demonstrated ability to drive operational excellence and efficiency, including optimizing seller onboarding, enablement, education, and customer support workflows
- Strong analytical and strategic mindset, able to translate complex data into actionable insights that directly impact business performance
- Structured, performance-driven, with a balance of technical proficiency, business acumen, and commercial judgment
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced, high-growth environments, managing multiple stakeholders across functions and geographies
- Fluent in English and other European Languages is a plus
