A rapidly growing organisation within the financial technology and payments space is seeking an exceptional Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to lead their commercial strategy and drive significant revenue growth. This is a senior executive role suited to a commercially astute leader with experience operating in regulated, high‑performing environments.
About the Role
As CRO / Head of Revenue growth & Expansion, you will oversee the entire revenue lifecycle, aligning Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer functions to maximise market opportunity and deliver scalable, predictable growth. You will operate as a key member of the Executive Team, influencing commercial direction at Board level and shaping long‑term strategy.
What You’ll Do
- Own and lead revenue growth across both established and emerging markets, accelerating commercial performance and market share.
- Define and execute the organisation’s commercial and expansion strategy, ensuring alignment with long‑term business objectives and strategic priorities.
- Lead high‑performing Sales and Tenders teams, driving excellence through strategic direction, coaching, and strong performance leadership.
- Oversee pricing strategy at Board level, ensuring models remain competitive, value‑aligned, commercially viable, and fit for regulated markets.
- Drive bid / no‑bid decision‑making, providing robust commercial insight, risk assessment, and operational capacity evaluation.
- Use deep market intelligence and regulatory awareness to shape pricing, product positioning, investment decisions, and go‑to‑market activity.
- Partner closely with Product teams, acting as executive sponsor for major bids, strategic partnerships, and high‑value commercial opportunities.
- Present clear and well‑constructed growth plans to the Board, collaborating on direction, priorities, and market strategy.
About You
You will bring:
- Senior leadership experience, ideally at executive or Board‑level, with a track record of delivering commercial growth.
- A background working within regulated industries, particularly Financial Services, Payments, Fintech, or other compliance‑driven sectors.
- A strong history of success in sales‑led environments, ideally involving tenders, competitive bidding, and solution‑driven sales models.
- Deep experience in pricing, tendering processes, and strong product knowledge, enabling you to shape competitive, insight‑led commercial strategies.
- Proven ability to scale teams, drive predictable revenue, and execute growth strategies in fast‑moving markets.
- Strong analytical, strategic, and commercially entrepreneurial mindset.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at Board level.
