Description & Requirements
Electronic Arts creates next-level entertainment experiences that inspire players and fans around the world. Here, everyone is part of the story. Part of a community that connects across the globe. A place where creativity thrives, new perspectives are invited, and ideas matter. A team where everyone makes play happen.
At EA, we believe games are powerful because they bring together multiple ways people engage: play, watch, create, and connect. And increasingly, the biggest entertainment platforms aren't just places to consume content — they're places where communities build.
Creator-made content is already a proven part of EA's history — from community creation tools in Battlefield to The Gallery in The Sims 4. We believe new creative technologies and tools will expand how players engage with and contribute to our experiences, supported by thoughtful product design, safety systems, and global reach. Our focus is on enabling more players to participate in creative expression by making creation easier, safer, and more rewarding.
We're looking for a Head of Business Operations to report to the business unit leader and build the operating cadence that turns priorities into execution. You will own planning and OKRs, performance management, forecasting and unit economics, resource planning, and executive decision materials.
This is not a traditional Business Operations role. You will combine strategic and financial rigor with technical fluency in AI-native tools and platforms, and work closely with engineers, researchers, and product leaders.
Key Responsibilities
- Own planning and operations: Translate priorities into integrated plans, timelines, and measurable outcomes; drive alignment and clear trade-offs across initiatives.
- Run operating cadence: Lead OKRs, business reviews, and milestone tracking to ensure ownership, decision velocity, and execution.
- Drive performance management: Build and maintain KPI systems across product, business, and operations; develop forecasting models and identify risks early.
- Support strategic decision-making: Partner with leaders to prioritize investments, resolve dependencies, and translate complex inputs into execution plans.
- Develop executive materials: Create clear, data-driven recommendations, including investment cases, prioritization frameworks, and progress updates.
- Bring external perspective: Monitor market, platform, and ecosystem trends and translate insights into implications for strategy and execution.
- Ensure organizational rigor: Partner on organizational design, resourcing, and governance (e.g., RACI, vendor management, compliance considerations).
Requirements
- 8+ years in business operations, strategy & operations, product operations, or program leadership in scaled consumer platforms.
- 3+ years of leading teams.
- Strong analytical, executive communication, and cross-functional leadership skills.
- Experience across technical and business domains, translating between product, engineering, and commercial priorities.
- Proven ability to execute in fast-moving environments with multiple stakeholders across different geographies.
- Familiarity with technically complex consumer products or ecosystems.
- English. Mandarin also preferred.
