About The Role
We are looking for an exceptional operator to be the right hand of the Founder and serve as the company's internal engine. The Head of Business Operations will own end-to-end business performance, translating strategy into execution across every function — from tech & product and sales to marketing and HR. This is a high-trust, high-impact role that demands a rare combination of analytical rigour, cross-functional leadership, and the ability to move fast without breaking things.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Execution & Founder Support
- Act as the Founder's force multiplier — attend all key meetings, own follow-through, and ensure strategic decisions are executed with speed and accountability.
- Translate the company vision into quarterly and annual operating plans with clear OKRs, owners, and milestones.
- Identify gaps in execution and proactively step in to remove blockers across teams.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Serve as the connective tissue across Tech & Product, Sales, Marketing, and HR — ensuring alignment on priorities, timelines, and resources.
- Run weekly cross-functional syncs, flag inter-team dependencies early, and drive resolution without escalation.
- Partner with Tech & Product on roadmap prioritisation against business impact and revenue goals.
- Support the Sales team with pipeline data, territory planning, and go-to-market execution.
- Work with Marketing on campaign ROI analysis, growth experiments, and budget allocation.
- Collaborate with HR on hiring plans, team structuring, and culture initiatives.
Financial Oversight & Business Intelligence
- Own the company P&L alongside the Founder — monitor actuals vs. budget, identify variances, and drive corrective action.
- Build and maintain the company's core dashboards and reporting infrastructure covering revenue, margins, CAC, LTV, burn rate, and headcount costs.
- Lead monthly and quarterly business reviews with data-rich narrative.
- Drive financial modelling for new initiatives, partnerships, and expansion scenarios.
- Establish unit economics benchmarks and ensure every team understands and tracks their contribution to the business.
Operations & Process Excellence
- Design, document, and continuously improve core business processes to eliminate inefficiency as the company scales.
- Own the company-wide project management rhythm — intake, prioritisation, tracking, and retrospective.
- Drive vendor and partner management for key operational tools and service agreements.
- Lead special projects and strategic initiatives at the Founder's direction.
Must-Have Qualifications
What We Are Looking For
- 8–14 years of experience in business operations, strategy consulting, or a chief-of-staff type role.
- Demonstrably strong analytical skills — you are the person others go to when numbers need to make sense.
- Proven experience building and managing cross-functional teams.
- Expert-level proficiency with financial modelling, spreadsheets, and BI tools (e.g., Excel/Sheets, Looker, Tableau, or similar).
- Experience owning or contributing significantly to a company P&L.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication — equally effective in a board deck and a Slack thread.
- Ability to operate at both the strategic and granular level — you can set a vision and also get into the weeds.
Nice to Have
- MBA or equivalent from a top institution.
- Prior experience at a high-growth startup or having scaled a team from seed to Series B+.
- Familiarity with SaaS metrics or marketplace economics.
- Experience with SQL or basic data querying to pull your own analysis.
