LHH Executive Search, a division of the Adecco Group, has partnered with a growing engineering and industrial contractor in their search for a Chief Financial Officer. This position is onsite and relocation will be offered for the right candidate.
Reporting to ownership, the CFO will lead the organization's accounting and finance operations and manage a team of 10 experienced professionals. The ideal candidate will come from a general contractor or project accounting environment and have a strong understanding of drivers and best practices within the industry. The company has ambitious growth plans so experience handling merger and acquisition scenarios would be a key to success.
Responsibilities
- Lead Accounting/Finance organization
- Assist leadership in strategic planning and tax strategy
- Develop strong processes and internal control environment
- Project Management for new ERP and other initiatives
- Create new reporting package for ownership focused on cash management and strategy
- Manage relationships with banks, government and public accounting firm
Qualifications
- BS in Accounting (MBA Preferred)
- CPA preferred
- Strong process improvement and best practice implementation experience
- 10 years plus of core finance and accounting leadership
- Thorough understanding of construction and engineering accounting standards.
- Create strong relationships with both internal and external partners, become trusted advisor to ownership and operations
