NIPRO Americas Group Companies seeks a highly accomplished and experienced Chief Financial Officer to oversee the organization’s financial strategy, ensure sustainable growth, and lead strategic initiatives that drive long-term profitability.
Reporting directly to the CEO of the NAGC and serving as a key partner to the Global CEO, Global CFO, and senior leadership, the CFO for the Americas will provide strategic financial leadership and oversight for all financial operations, planning, reporting, and governance across the Americas region (North America and Latin America).
The Chief Financial Officer role requires a strategic leader with a proven record of financial excellence and strong business acumen. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience leading organizational transformations and working within complex, internationally structured organizations, including financial consolidation. This individual will play a key role in strengthening governance and driving the organization to higher levels of effectiveness.
Strategic Financial Leadership & Enterprise Value Creation
- Architect and drive the long-term regional financial strategy, ensuring tight alignment with global priorities while shaping the region’s business agenda, growth trajectory, and competitive positioning.
- Serve as a key strategic advisor to the CEO and executive leadership, translating financial insights into actionable business strategies and influencing major decisions across markets, portfolios, and functions.
- Lead holistic financial planning and scenario analysis, embedding forward-looking insights (market shifts, pricing dynamics, macroeconomic factors, competitive risks) into the region’s business model and strategic priorities.
- Steer capital allocation and investment strategy, balancing innovation, operational efficiency, and long-term value creation.
- Shape and guide regional M&A strategy, including market scanning, strategic fit assessments, value modeling, integration planning, and synergy realization.
Enterprise Performance, Reporting, and Governance
- Own the region’s performance narrative, ensuring financial insights clearly communicate market realities, commercial performance, and strategic implications to global leadership.
- Establish a governance model that promotes strategic discipline, driving decision-making rooted in ROI, risk awareness, and sustainable value creation.
- Ensure financial reporting and compliance frameworks not only meet regulatory requirements but enable transparency, strategic agility, and enterprise risk mitigation.
Technology & Digital Enablement Leadership
- Set the strategic vision for digital transformation within Finance ensuring technology investments drive measurable business value, integration, and scalability.
- Oversee modernization of financial enterprise systems (e.g., ERP upgrades, digital workflows, automation) to enhance speed, accuracy, and strategic insight.
- Champion data governance and financial system innovation, enabling the region to leverage analytics, automation, and digital intelligence.
Executive Leadership & Strategic Influence ·
- Build trusted partnerships with business unit leaders, providing insights that shape commercial strategy, market entry, pricing, and product portfolio decisions.
- Collaborate with global finance and strategy leaders to shape best practices, influence enterprise-wide initiatives, and create global consistency.
- Represent the region with external financial stakeholders—banks, investors, partners—to strengthen confidence and support the company’s long-term strategic direction.
Talent Leadership & Organizational Development
- Build and develop a future-ready Finance organization, emphasizing strategic thinking, business partnering, analytics, innovation, and leadership capability.
- Cultivate a high-performance culture grounded in accountability, agility, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Equip teams to serve as strategic partners—not just support functions—embedded within the business to drive insight, foresight, and execution excellence.
Education, Certifications and/or Work Experience Requirements: ·
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; MBA, CPA, or CFA designation preferred.
- Proven experience as a CFO or senior finance leader preferably in multinational organizations from the medical device or healthcare sectors, with at least 15 years of financial management experience across the Americas region.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards (e.g., US GAAP, IFRS), tax laws, and regulatory compliance requirements across North and Latin America.
- Expertise in SAP implementation, preferably with experience in leading large-scale finance integrations.
- Demonstrated success in financial planning, risk management, cost control, and capital management in complex, multi-country environments.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams.
