The platform centralizes the operational infrastructure behind selling residential inventory - including lot and unit releases, pricing management, deal progression, broker coordination, documentation workflows, and executive-level reporting. It supports the pre-construction and active sales phases of single-family, lot, and multi-residential projects.
DealPortal is currently used by active builders and brokerage teams and has supported the management of over $1B+ in residential inventory sales. As the company expands into the U.S. market, the focus is on building a scalable revenue platform and establishing long-term category leadership in pre-construction operations software.
The Opportunity:
We are seeking a Co-Founder & Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to lead U.S. expansion and architect the company's long-term revenue strategy.
This is not a regional sales leadership role. It is a founder-level position with full accountability for revenue growth, enterprise sales strategy, and organizational scale. The CRO will work closely with the leadership team to align revenue execution with product direction, capital strategy, and long-term company objectives.
This role is suited for a driven revenue leader who knows how to build - not inherit - a scalable revenue engine, and who thrives in environments where the playbook hasn't been written yet.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide executive leadership over U.S. revenue strategy and long-term growth planning
- Define and evolve the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and market segmentation strategy
- Develop and execute a scalable, regionally focused go-to-market approach
- Establish pricing, packaging, and enterprise contract frameworks
- Personally lead and close strategic enterprise accounts
- Build and oversee a high-performing revenue organization as the company scales
- Develop structured sales processes, performance standards, and accountability systems
- Cultivate strategic partnerships within the homebuilding and pre-construction ecosystem
- Collaborate with leadership to align revenue strategy with product evolution
- Contribute to capital planning, revenue forecasting, and investor-facing communications
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise sales, business development, or revenue leadership
- 3+ years of experience selling or scaling a SaaS or technology platform
- Demonstrated record of closing $50K-$250K+ annual contracts
- Experience selling into pre-construction, development, real estate, or operational leadership teams
- Proven ability to build pipeline and strategy in early-stage or high-growth environments
- Experience building and leading revenue teams
- Strong executive communication and relationship-building skills
- Ownership mindset with long-term strategic thinking
Preferred:
- Background in pre-construction, real estate, or proptech
- Existing relationships within the U.S. homebuilder or developer ecosystem
- Experience in startup or venture-backed environments
- Exposure to capital raises or board-level reporting
Requirements:
- Located remotely or based in Ontario, Canada
- Willingness to travel for U.S. client meetings and industry events
- High degree of accountability and professional maturity
- Comfort operating within ambiguity while building structure
Performance Expectations
Success in this role will be measured by:
- Establishing a clearly defined U.S. market focus and ICP
- Building a measurable enterprise pipeline
- Securing initial strategic U.S. builder clients
- Achieving $1M ARR within the first 12 months
- Establishing a scalable revenue foundation for multi-year growth
