Seeks a mission-driven Sr. Finance leader with a systems mindset and startup energy, who wants to make a high-impact career move. The position requires active, hands-on involvement in implementing financial, accounting, CRM management systems, automating processes, and providing efficient, actionable reporting and strategic planning.
Key to the CFO fit: • Ensure continuity of finance operations and team leadership (currently have a Controller and Staff Accountant) • Oversee budgeting, audits, reporting, and compliance • Maintain strong grants management and revenue tracking (philanthropic + government) • Support implementation and integration of Sage Intacct and Salesforce • Provide clear financial analysis and reporting to leadership and Board • Partner cross-functionally (Development, Operations) on funding and revenue cycle • Strengthen processes, automate workflows, and improve efficiency • Monitor cash flow, forecasts, and financial risk • Support and develop finance team performance • Advance strategic financial priorities during transition
Main criteria are: • Deep nonprofit / grant accounting experience • Willing to assume a “hands-on” role • Relevant scale and knowledge of Sage and/or Salesforce • Nice to have federal / regulatory foundation • Hands on Experience with Sage Intacct and Salesforce
