Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Sales Operations Leadership

Lead and evolve the end‑to‑end sales and placement operations strategy supporting the locum tenens staffing model.

Serve as a strategic advisor to Sales and Finance executives, driving placement accuracy, pay and invoice integrity, cost recovery, and scalable performance management.

Design, implement, and enforce scalable processes that support rapid growth while maintaining speed, compliance, and operational consistency.
Placement Operations Enablement

Optimize workflows across scheduling, contract and rate setup, time & expense management, and assignment lifecycle operations to support business KPIs.

Ensure operational data is complete, accurate, and aligned across CRM, timekeeping, payroll, and billing systems.

Strengthen cross‑system data integrity to reduce errors, rework, and revenue leakage.
Time, Expense & Invoicing Ownership

Maintain full ownership of timely and accurate time and expense processes—from provider submission through approval and posting.

Ensure tight linkage between time worked, reimbursable expenses, provider pay, and client invoicing to eliminate discrepancies and downstream corrections.

Partner with Finance and Payroll to ensure:

Accurate provider compensation

Accurate, compliant, and timely client invoices

Clear audit trails across time, expense, and billing records

Establish controls, SLAs, and exception‑management processes to reduce revenue leakage and payment delays.

Identify operational risks and communicate mitigation strategies to executive leadership.
Cross‑Functional Leadership

Lead, mentor, and scale a high‑performing Sales & Performance Operations organization, including managers and individual contributors.

Partner closely with Sales, Finance, Legal, Compliance, IT, and Operations to ensure regulatory, contractual, and operational alignment.

Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Deep understanding of the interdependencies between sales, placement operations, timekeeping, expense reimbursement, payroll, and billing.

Demonstrated ability to design scalable processes and lead cross‑functional change.

Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.

Ability to influence at all levels and drive alignment across diverse teams.
Education & Experience
-
8–12+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or Business Operations—preferably within healthcare staffing, locum tenens, or professional services.

Proven experience supporting placement‑based or services‑based revenue models (time, expense, payroll, invoicing).

Experience with revenue leakage prevention strongly preferred.

Strong systems experience (CRM, time & expense platforms, billing/payroll integrations). Salesforce or similar CRM preferred.

Experience leading invoice accuracy initiatives and audit readiness a plus.

Demonstrated success leading and developing teams at the Director or Senior Director level.
