Job Overview
The Senior Director, Revenue Operations is a senior leadership role responsible for driving operational excellence across the league’s revenue-generating functions. This individual will serve as the connective tissue across Sales, Partnerships, Merchandise, Marketing, Content, and Operations, ensuring that revenue initiatives are executed seamlessly, efficiently, and at a high standard.
This role is both strategic and highly results-oriented, translating commercial agreements into coordinated, cross-functional delivery. The Senior Director will partner closely with the VP, Sponsorships & Account Management, who leads sponsorship sales and fulfillment, and will enhance the league’s ability to deliver best-in-class partner experiences at scale.
This is a year-round, full-time position, reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer and based in Miami, FL during the season. Location during the off-season will be determined on a case by case basis.
Responsibilities
Revenue Operations Leadership
- Serve as the operational execution lead for the Revenue team, ensuring alignment and delivery across all revenue streams.
- Act as the primary point of contact and coordinator across internal departments for all revenue-related execution.
- Build and refine systems, processes, and workflows that enable scalable and consistent execution of partnership and revenue initiatives.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Partner with Content to ensure effective planning, production, and delivery of branded and partner-driven content.
- Collaborate with League Operations on the planning and execution of partner assets at tour stops and league events.
- Work closely with Marketing to align campaigns, messaging, and activations with partner commitments and priorities.
- Ensure clear communication and accountability across teams involved in revenue delivery.
Partnership Execution & Experience
- Oversee the execution of partner events and activations, including direct management of the partner event lead.
- Provide leadership, structure, and support to elevate execution quality while empowering team members to grow and take ownership.
- Ensure all partnership deliverables are fulfilled in accordance with contractual obligations and at a premium standard.
Systems, Reporting & Analytics
- Own and manage the league’s partnership tracking and reporting systems, as well as the betting content provider relationship.
- Ensure accurate tracking, valuation, and reporting of partner asset delivery and return on investment.
- Partner with the Senior Director, Revenue Strategy & Analytics to develop insights and recommendations that improve performance and inform future deal structuring.
Merchandise Operations Support
- Partner with the Merchandise team to support operational execution as needed, ensuring alignment with broader revenue initiatives.
- Help integrate merchandise into partnership strategies and event execution where appropriate.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop key operational team members, including event and execution leads.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Create opportunities for high-potential team members to grow and expand their scope.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in revenue operations, partnerships, or business operations, ideally within sports, media, or entertainment.
- Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives and deliver against high-stakes commercial commitments.
- Strong operational mindset with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
- Experience managing live events, sponsorship activations, or large-scale campaigns.
- Demonstrated ability to build systems and processes in a fast-growing or evolving organization.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and align diverse stakeholders.
- Data-driven, with experience overseeing reporting tools and translating insights into action.
