Basic Purpose and Objective of the Position
Detail-oriented Finance and Business Operations Manager with extensive experience in governance, finance, accounting, and office operations. Proven track record in financial planning and close collaboration with executive management and tax advisors. Oversee daily office operations while managing personnel administration, payroll coordination, and financial back-office functions.
Major Responsibilities
Accounting & Finance Administration (60%)
- Process incoming and outgoing invoices
- Support accounts payable and receivable
- Prepare documentation for bookkeeping and external tax advisors
- Support VAT return preparation in conjunction with tax advisors
- Reconcile accounts and track payments
- Assist with monthly and annual financial reporting
- Monitor budgets and expense tracking
Office Management (30%)
- Oversee daily office operations and administrative processes
- Manage contracts, office supplies, and vendor relationships
Human Resources Administration (10%)
- Prepare payroll data and coordinate with external payroll providers
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
- 3+ years of professional accounting experience
- Knowledge of payroll processes and basic accounting principles
- Proficiency in MS Office and accounting/HR software
Language Skills
German (C1), English (B2)
