United Renewable Energy (URE) is seeking a skilled, full-time Business Operations Associate to support daily business activities as a member of the Business Operations Team. This role contributes to administrative, financial, and operational functions that support internal teams, streamline workflows, and ensure accurate and timely execution of core business processes. The position plays a key role in promoting operational consistency, productivity, and overall organizational effectiveness.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) by meticulously tracking Prevailing Wage and Apprentice records across multiple projects.
- Collaborate on the tracking and maintenance of State and Federal requirements.
- Utilize Procore for efficient creation and management of purchase orders, work orders, and change orders.
- Execute accurate data entry tasks as needed, encompassing credit applications, NDA tracking sheet maintenance, new vendor information, and COI management.
- Support in tracking and managing business licensing obligations, including conducting necessary research activities.
- Maintain organized virtual filing systems and records across various platforms.
- Utilize NetSuite and other relevant software proficiently for effective bookkeeping.
- Format and create Excel/Google Sheets including inputting necessary formulas as required. Increase knowledge of these functions throughout employment.
- Continuously explore and recommend alternative applications to enhance the efficiency of business operations through ongoing research efforts.
- Communicate professionally and timely to vendors, clients, and colleague requests.
Qualifications:
- High school graduate.
- 3+ years of relevant experience supporting administrative business functions, project operations, or compliance activities, ideally in a construction, energy, or regulated industry setting.
- Experience with Procore, NetSuite, and spreadsheet tools preferred.
- Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
- Authorized to work in the USA.
- Possession of a valid Driver’s License.
- Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug screens, criminal background, and DMV checks.
- Self-starter and quick learner.
- Acute attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Location:
- Primary work location: Remote from home office – Metro Atlanta, GA residents preferred.
- Potential time spent at URE’s office locations in Cumming, GA and Asheville, NC.
- Must be willing to work Monday-Friday during EST business hours (8am-5pm).
