Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university in accounting, auditing, budgeting, financial coursework or related field.
Experience: Four (4) years of experience in the management and direction of a program relevant to accounting, financial, budget or purchasing operations and three (3) years of experience in supervisory, administrative, or planning duties.
Experience overseeing and managing multiple computer systems and processes including Uniform Statewide Accounting System (USAS), Uniform Statewide Payroll System (USPS), Centralized Accounting and Payroll/Personnel System (CAPPS).
Applicable Substitutions: Experience and education may be substituted for one another.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree, CPA, or CIA.
Five (5) years of budget experience.
Seven (7) years supervisory experiences in accounting or financial operations.
Completion of at least twelve (12) hours from an accredited four-year college or university in accounting, auditing, or financial coursework.
Project management experience.
