The Role
Join our team to support our Global Sales team in ensuring the smooth operation of the AspenTech business! As an Aftermarket Senior Sales Operations Analyst, you will provide best-in-class deal management support to Aftermarket Field Sales, Inside Sales, and local regional sales teams.
Support the Global Sales organization by managing and streamlining Aftermarket deal operations, ensuring smooth execution through the quote to contract process. Act as an extension of Sales to help achieve quarterly objectives and uphold quality and compliance throughout deal cycles.
Your Impact
- Work with global Sales, Account Managers, Sales Ops, and Management to review commercial offers, ensure compliance with Approvals & Authorization (A&A) policies, and support downstream contracting and fulfillment.
- Create and validate quotes, ensuring scope, pricing approval, and adherence to quality standards.
- Process accepted quotes and provide delivery packages for Project Delivery teams.
- Manage and coordinate approval workflows under A&A policy; resolve non‑standard or complex deal scenarios.
- Serve as SME and trusted advisor for the quote‑to‑contract process; develop tools, documentation, and training for Account Managers and Project Managers.
- Identify and implement process improvements; participate in cross‑functional or special projects, including UAT.
- Deliver reporting to Executive Management and support data analysis and system issue identification.
- Support adoption of new processes and application capabilities through documentation and presentations.
- Enhance decision‑making by analyzing and presenting data.
- Understand deal financial/commercial elements and revenue recognition requirements.
What You'll Need
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in international sales operations or similar environment.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Expertise in Microsoft Office; Salesforce and JIRA preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
- Logical thinker with proven decision‑making capability; strong interpersonal and facilitation skills.
- Self-accountability to perform tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer service and organizational skills; able to work with geographically dispersed teams.
- Experience with commercial contracts, proposals, order processing, forecasting, or ERP systems.
- Ability to have cross-functional relationships and influence.
The salary range for this role is $67,400.00 - $84,200.00. This range represents what we in good faith believe is the range possible for base compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on several factors. This range may be modified in the future. This role is also eligible for bonus or variable incentive pay.
