Position Overview
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for the strategic direction, management, and control of all financial activities of the organization. The CFO oversees financial planning, analysis, budgeting, forecasting, accounting, and reporting to ensure the association’s financial health and sustainability. This role is critical in providing financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making by the CEO and Board of Directors. The CFO is a member of the Executive Leadership Team.
Duties
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA or CPA preferred.
- At least five years accounting/finance experience working in a non-profit 501c3 organization in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations, accounting standards, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in financial management software and systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively with executive leadership and cross-functional teams.
This is not a remote position.
Salary: Minimum $152,292/yr.
