Chaudhary Group (CG) is seeking a dynamic and strategic
Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial function of its
Auto Business in Brighton, UK. The
CFO will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for overseeing the financial strategy, governance, and performance of CG’s Auto Business operations across Europe.
This role requires a highly experienced finance professional with demonstrated expertise in managing complex, multi-jurisdictional environments, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving sustainable financial growth aligned with corporate objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic financial leadership to support business growth, expansion, and long-term value creation
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis across European operations
- Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting in accordance with IFRS and applicable local regulations
- Establish and maintain strong internal controls, risk management frameworks, and corporate governance standards
- Oversee treasury, cash flow management, capital structuring, and funding strategies
- Drive financial discipline, cost optimization, and operational efficiency initiatives
- Partner closely with the CEO and senior leadership to support strategic decision-making and business transformation
- Lead financial due diligence, mergers & acquisitions, and investment evaluation activities
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors, financial institutions, regulators, and investors
- Build and develop a high-performing, geographically dispersed finance team
Qualifications & Experience
- Professional qualification such as CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent
- 15+ years of progressive finance experience, including significant exposure to senior leadership roles
- Proven experience in the automotive industry or related manufacturing/industrial sectors
- Demonstrated capability in managing finance functions across multiple European jurisdictions
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, taxation, and regulatory environments within Europe
- Experience in driving financial transformation, process improvements, and organizational scale-up
- Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and sound judgment
